Laurel, MD – February 5, 2025 – Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services (LARS) is thrilled to host a Red Carpet Event for No Address on February 27, 2025, the day before its nationwide release. This powerful film, produced by Robert Craig Films, sheds light on the experiences of those facing homelessness and inspires viewers to take action to support local nonprofits.
The event will be held at Regal Laurel Towne Centre. Attendees will enjoy an exclusive first look at No Address while learning about the vital work LARS does every day to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the greater Laurel area.
“The power of the film is in its realistic portrayal of how easy it is to become homeless. The characters are you and I, our friends and family, in every town, suburb and city. Robert Craig Films has done a marvelous job of showing that homelessness can happen to anyone at any time and in any place. It is no respecter of person, place, or position,” said Shannon Mouton, Executive Director.
In collaboration with Robert Craig Films, LARS aims to amplify awareness of the challenges those experiencing homelessness face and encourage the community to take meaningful action. As part of the Big 5 GIVEBACK initiative, 50% of net profits from the No Address productions will be shared with nonprofits addressing homelessness, including LARS.
“No Address was created to inspire empathy and a deeper understanding of the homelessness crisis,” said Jennifer Stolo, CEO & Producer at Robert Craig Films. “We’re honored to partner with Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services and other organizations that are making a tangible difference in their communities.”
The LARS Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program is a HUD-supported housing-first initiative that focuses on providing safe homes for chronically homeless individuals and families. Once safely housed, PSH Case Managers provide intensive supportive services to help residents stay housed and reacclimate into society. LARS’ PSH program has a master lease of 50 rental units throughout northern Prince George’s County, providing housing for nearly 80 formerly homeless adults and children.
Guests can purchase tickets for this exclusive event at http://bit.ly/LARSNoAddress. Proceeds from the event will directly support LARS in its mission to provide support and resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
