WellAve Dermatology Opens New Headquarters on Riva Road in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — September 17, 2026 — WellAve Dermatology has opened its new 9,946-square-foot headquarters at 2594 Riva Road in Annapolis. The expanded facility officially welcomed patients on September 14, 2026.

Hyatt Commercial’s medical office team, Laurie Zuiderhof and Treva Ghattas, represented WellAve Dermatology in the lease transaction. The practice relocated from its former Defense Highway office after outgrowing the space.

The new headquarters includes six general dermatology treatment rooms, six Mohs surgical rooms and dedicated cosmetic and aesthetic treatment areas. The additional surgical rooms more than triple WellAve’s previous Mohs capacity in Annapolis. The facility also supports expanded services, including red light therapy and additional cosmetic treatments.

WellAve designed the single-floor office with separate patient-care areas for general dermatology, Mohs surgery and cosmetic services. The layout helps improve privacy and patient flow while offering greater accessibility, expanded waiting areas and additional on-site scheduling and billing support.

“For our patients, nearly every aspect of this move represents an improvement,” said Sheila Keppler, CEO of WellAve Dermatology. “We have more space, better accessibility, dedicated areas for different types of care, expanded surgical capacity and an environment designed around the patient experience.”

The headquarters remains within minutes of WellAve’s former Annapolis location and offers convenient access along the Riva Road corridor.

“Growth only matters if it allows us to take better care of people,” said Dr. Allan C. Harrington, Founder and Chief Medical Officer of WellAve Dermatology. “Every additional treatment room, every surgical suite and every improvement we have made to this facility ultimately comes back to the patient. This new headquarters was built with them in mind.”
