Tim Hortons Plans Expansion with Ten New Maryland Locations

Howard County, MD – April 15, 2025 – Hyatt Commercial is proud to announce that Tim Hortons, a leading international coffeehouse and quick-service restaurant chain, is seeking to expand into Maryland, with ten new locations planned for Howard and Carroll Counties.

Founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, Tim Hortons is known for its premium coffee, fresh donuts, and fast-casual menu. With more than 5,700 restaurants in 13 countries, it remains Canada’s largest quick-service restaurant brand.

Tim Hortons is seeking prime retail sites in the region, ideally free-standing buildings with drive-thru capability or high-traffic endcap spaces. Each location will follow the brand’s standard 1,600-square-foot layout, featuring an indoor dining area.
