Mercer Knott Joins Hyatt Commercial as Sales and Leasing Associate

Annapolis, MD – August 28, 2026 – Mercer Knott has joined Hyatt Commercial as a Sales and Leasing Associate. He represents landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers throughout the Baltimore-Washington corridor. With a background in business development and manufacturing, Mercer will focus on industrial and flex real estate. He will also leverage his extensive network to build long-term relationships with business owners and real estate investors.

That hands-on experience sourcing opportunities, underwriting value, negotiating terms, and managing transactions through closing gives him an owner’s perspective on deal structure and value creation that translates extremely well to commercial real estate.” 

Mercer will work from Hyatt Commercial’s Annapolis headquarters. In addition, he will support the company’s continued expansion throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. As a Washington, D.C. resident and Baltimore native, he brings strong connections throughout both markets. 

“With Mercer’s presence in Washington, D.C. and his background as a business owner, he is going to be a great resource for his clients,” Mullen added. “His experience allows him to understand real estate decisions from the perspective of the business owner and investor, which will be valuable as we continue to grow our presence throughout the region.” 

Mercer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, in 2016.
