Leadership Anne Arundel Opens Nominations for 2026 New Leaders Celebration
ANNAPOLIS, MD (January 14, 2026) – Leadership Anne Arundel (LAA), the premier leadership training and networking institute in Anne Arundel County, has opened its call for nominations to recognize outstanding New Leaders at the 2026 New Leaders Breakfast Celebration, to be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Carrol’s Creek Café in Annapolis.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 13, 2026. Pending receipt and review of all nomination materials, the LAA Executive Committee will select the honorees to be recognized at the event. Nominees do not need to be graduates of an LAA program; however, they must meet the following criteria:
· Newly accepted, selected, appointed, or elected to an executive-level position
· Position began between March 2025 and March 2026
· Leadership role serves and/or impacts the Anne Arundel County community
· Position may be held within a nonprofit, government, or for-profit organization
LAA alumni and members of the community are encouraged to submit nominations by completing the Nomination Form no later than March 13, 2026. Honorees will be notified and formally invited to attend on or before Monday, March 30, 2026. Each year, this sold-out event honors individuals who have stepped into new leadership roles and demonstrated exceptional commitment to the betterment of Anne Arundel County. Advance registration is required by Friday, April 24, 2026; walk-ins will not be permitted.
