Hyatt Commercial Represents Seller in $6 Million Annapolis Office Sale

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Oct. 12, 2026 — Hyatt Commercial represented the seller in the $6 million sale of 2661 Riva Road, Building 1000, in Annapolis, Maryland. The transaction closed October 1, 2026. 

Cecil Cummins, Eric Pinkett and Owen Wellschlager of Hyatt Commercial represented the seller, 2661 RIVA, LLC, in the transaction. The property was acquired by an investment group led by Dark Horse Development. 

“The property generated significant interest from owner-occupant buyers. Ultimately, we were able to align a strong investment group with a lead tenant, creating a successful transaction that delivered value to the seller, buyer, and tenant-investor alike," said Cecil Cummins, Executive Vice President of Hyatt Commercial.  

The ±51,447-square-foot office building sits within the Riva 400 Office Park on approximately 5 acres. Zoned C-2 in Anne Arundel County, the property serves as the office park’s anchor building, with direct access to major highways serving Annapolis and the surrounding area. This marks Hyatt Commercial’s third office sale in the Riva 400 Office Park over the past two years.
