Hyatt Commercial Represents Buyer in Acquisition of 2623 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, D.C.
Washington, D.C. – July 16, 2026 – Hyatt Commercial is pleased to announce the sale of 2623 Connecticut Avenue NW, a 6,413-square-foot mixed-use retail property in Washington, D.C.’s Woodley Park neighborhood.
Eddie Trujillo, Vice President and Principal Broker for Washington, D.C., represented buyer Kristina Lo in the acquisition.
The property is home to Sofra, a popular restaurant specializing in authentic Greek and Turkish cuisine. Following the acquisition, Lo plans to keep Sofra in place while renovating the apartments on the upper floors. As a result, the investment preserves a successful local business while improving the property’s residential component.
“This acquisition reflects the continued demand for well-located mixed-use properties in Washington, D.C.,” said Trujillo. “Kristina recognized the long-term value of this asset. Additionally, we’re excited to help bring her vision to life while supporting a neighborhood restaurant with a loyal customer base.”
The property sits along the Connecticut Avenue corridor. Because of its location, it offers excellent visibility, strong pedestrian traffic, and convenient access to the Woodley Park Metro station. Consequently, it remains an attractive destination for residents, visitors, and businesses.
Meanwhile, the acquisition highlights Hyatt Commercial’s expertise in representing investors throughout the Washington metropolitan area. The firm’s team continues to identify opportunities that combine stable income with long-term value creation.
