CTS Welcomes Tom Collins as Director of Sales to Accelerate Growth and Innovation

Tom brings over 30 years of telecommunications expertise, a passion for customer-focused solutions, and a strong leadership background to the CTS team.

A resident of Crownsville, Maryland, Tom holds dual BAs in Government & Politics and Secondary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. Throughout his distinguished career, Tom has specialized in delivering tailored telecommunications solutions—including turn-key unified communication deployments, broadband connectivity, infrastructure, and SaaS—to small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and local governments. His customer-centric approach focuses on designing cost-effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce expenses, especially for organizations frustrated with traditional telecom providers’ pricing, service, and billing challenges.
Tom is also deeply involved in the community, serving on the boards of Fit2BKids (Secretary), Live Water Foundation, and Serenity Sistas (Treasurer). Outside of work, he is a five-time Ironman finisher, exemplifying his dedication and perseverance.
In his new role at CTS, Tom will lead the company’s sales efforts by driving outbound revenue, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and supporting our growing base of valued customers. Additionally, Tom is leveraging his recent expertise in artificial intelligence to help businesses integrate AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
