Typical Salary $13-$20 (Commensurate with Experience)

Typical Work Week: 30 - 50+ hours

Position Summary: The Tent Installer is responsible for effectively installing tents and related accoutrements in our Party & Special Events Rental business. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager to ensure that goals are met, and that deliveries, pickups, receiving, distribution and all other warehouse functions are performed in an efficient and safe manner, while fostering a fair employment environment that encourages positive employee relations and supports retention.

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow, support and enforce company and department policies and procedures.
• Establish atmosphere in the field that promotes customer service and teamwork.
• Maintain warehouse, trucks, jobsites and trailers in a clean and orderly fashion with aisle ways kept free of merchandise and other items at all times. Assist in maintaining the warehouse. Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety. Complies with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
• Ensure that all trucks are loaded & unloaded properly, including safely tying in the merchandise & tagging of the equipment.
• Deliver & install tents & related party items to achieve company objectives.
• Assist as needed in the overall operation of the store.
• Additional duties as directed by senior management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence in leadership skills – promoting teamwork and positive attitude.
• Demonstrated experience directing and monitoring the work of others.
• Strong time management skills.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Education, Skills & Requirements:

• Tent Installation and party rental experience a plus.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
• Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels.
• Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
• Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
• Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
• Must pass company drug screen.
• Must pass Federal DOT Physical.
