Join Leadership Anne Arundel for a free, hands-on community safety training focused on life-saving skills you can use in an emergency. This interactive session will include the U.S. Department of Defense’s Stop the Bleed program, followed by a high-level introduction to CPR and AED use, with guided practice.
Led by certified instructors and emergency responders, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening bleeding, perform basic CPR, and confidently use an AED. Hands-on activities will use training mannequins, AED trainers, and Stop the Bleed aids.
The evening will also include brief opening remarks from Leadership Anne Arundel and an overview of Anne Arundel County Community Emergency Response Team (AAACERT) and its role in strengthening community preparedness.
This event is free and open to the public; however, advance registration is required, and space is limited.
