Halloween Spooktacular! Concert
Under the baton of Musical Director and Conductor Dr. Anna Binneweg, the Naptown Philharmonic will present its annual spooky Halloween fun for the whole family, including a costume contest! This is a great way to introduce exciting classical music to our younger patrons. Our guest emcee and narrator is Michael Hughes. Program: - Heinrich Marschner, Der Vampyr Overture, op. 42 - Eric Whitacre, October - James Newton Howard, Peter Pan: Suite for Orchestra & Narrator Intermission - John Williams, The Devil’s Dance from the Witches of Eastwick - Bobby "Boris" Pickett, Monster Mash (arr. Scimonelli) Vocalists: Glenn Scimonelli, Natalie Van Horn, Bethany Toner, Leah Moore Presentation of Costume Contest Winners - Berlioz, Dance of a Witches Sabbath (Symphonie Fantastique: Movement V)
