Hyatt Commercial Represents St. Mary’s Parish in $8.5M Bestgate Road Acquisition

Annapolis, MD – July 2, 2025 – Hyatt Commercial is proud to announce the successful representation of St. Mary’s Parish in the $8.5 million acquisition of 716 Bestgate Road in Annapolis, Maryland. The 9.37-acre property, long home to Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS), includes a ±40,000 square foot facility featuring a gymnasium, music and art rooms, 18 classrooms, and supporting administrative spaces, as well as a large athletic field.

 

For over three decades, the site has served as a key campus for AACS. As part of a phased transition, AACS will continue to operate on the property through the 2025–2026 academic year while preparing its Severn campus for consolidation and relocation.

 

Although St. Mary’s Parish has not yet announced formal plans for the property following AACS’s departure, the acquisition adds a significant asset to its growing portfolio of facilities, which currently includes its historic campus on Duke of Gloucester Street in Downtown Annapolis and the nearby St. John Neumann site on Bestgate Road.
